Diablo - U14 Speedo Cup Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DIABLO GIRLS FOR WINNING THE SPEEDO CUP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The 14/under girls took home the gold at the 14/under Speedo Cup Nationals. The girls had such great success because they are such a great TEAM! Maggie Steffens received the Maureen O'Toole Award for Sportsmanship and team play. Kelly Mendoza, who received that award last year, was the leading scorer of the tournament with 26 goals. The Diablo girls have put in a lot of time and hard work and are now the best team in the country. They are the first team ever to bring home the gold from Northern California. A special thanks to StoneCastle and the Fahey family for the generous sponsorship for the Speedo Cup.
